International Business School (IBS) is an independent, politically unrelated, private higher school in Republic of Bulgaria.

About the University

International Business School was founded in 1991 as the Bulgarian-Danish College of Trade, Export and Marketing - the first private college with foreign participation in Bulgaria.

The International Business School has institutional accreditation and program accreditations from the National Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of the Republic of Bulgaria and conducts training at the "Bachelor", "Master" and "PhD" degrees in the professional fields:

Tourism

The International Business School holds the DSLabel honorary mark from the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission - proof of the quality of the education offered.
Since the establishment of the Rating System of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria in 2010, the International Business School has consistently occupied one of the leading positions in the professional fields of Administration and Management, Economics and Tourism.

On 2.11.2023, by decision of the Accreditation Council, IBS received a very high score - 9.35, which positions it in first place among all private universities in Bulgaria.
