Varna Free University
is the biggest and most acknowledged private university in Bulgaria. The University organizes regular, part-time and distance learning for the education-and-qualification degrees "Bachelor", "Master" and "Doctor".
About the university
Varna Free University „Chernorizets Hrabar“ is institutionally accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Agency at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria. It is the first and only university in Bulgaria certified with the signs DS Label, ECTS Label and HR Excellence in Research logo by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture at the European Commission of the European Union. Varna Free University is certified under the international standard ISO 9001:2008 and has been granted certificates from UKAS (UK) and ANAB (USA) for the implementation of accepted international standards. Varna Free University is an educational brand, familiar not only in Bulgaria but also all over Europe, Asia, Africa and America. The academic programmes are developed in line with European trends - the Bologna process. Bachelor's degree programmes:
- Full-time - 4 years, 8 semesters;
- Part-time – 4-5 years, 8-10 semesters;
- Distance learning - 4 years, 8 semesters.
Fees:
- Application fee - 60 EUR;
- Preparatory course - 1350 EUR per semester;
- Bachelor - 1600 EUR per semester /Civil Engineering - 1800 EUR per semester/

Accommodation
Varna Free University expands its student accommodation options by offering, in addition to the university dormitory, special conditions in the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF JOURNALISTS in Golden Sands resort.
The International House of Journalists is located on the seashore in the middle of a beautiful park and botanical garden, 15 minutes' walking distance from the campus of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Long-term accommodation:
- Price per person in a double room: BGN 465 per month (double occupancy).
- Price per person in a triple room: BGN 310 per month (triple occupancy).
- Single occupancy: BGN 600 per month.
- Short term accommodation:
- Price for a double room for a minimum of 10 nights: BGN 35/night per room.
- Independent accommodation for a minimum of 10 nights: BGN 30/night per room.
- Short-term accommodation: BGN 40/night per room.
The cost of utilities is included in the accommodation price.
Additional services:
- Breakfast: BGN 5/person (with a minimum of 50 people).
- Dinner: BGN 8/person (with a minimum of 50 people).
- Self-service laundry: BGN 4 for up to 5 kg of laundry (detergents included).
- Drying: BGN 4 for up to 5 kg.
